First and foremost, Executive Finances acts as a quasi-criminal organization with one goal: to make those credits. We'd even print them if we were able. But since we can't, we rely on a variety of methods. Most important of those methods is slavery.
Slaves, the original slave labor, are the most useful tool when it comes to making credits. You can sell a slave, trade a slave, make a slave create things for you, force a slave to toil until it dies, put it out on the street, keep it to clean your ship, or place it into a slave army; and when that slave is all used up, all you need to do is buy another one from the trading post.
However, that isn't what Executive Finances is all about. There are many layers on top of the command structure that need minds as smart as a whip crack. Mercenary Slavers and Iris's Lieutenants aren't limited by the singleminded, feudal, idea of slavery. Slavers may treat the slaves under them as friends or comrades in arms. Some of her Lieutenants may lead slaves into battle under a familiar banner, or scout unknown sectors with them in their slave-manned vessel. However, there will be those that are required to hunt and capture newfound slaves for sale or other use.
Here are the particularities of the faction:
Lead Slaver --
In charge of all credit-creation affairs. You want someone dead? I'll have a slave run at the target with a bomb strapped to their chest. Spice trading? I sold my mom on Iridonia some Booster Blue and a half ke' of Pixie Dust this morning. Sex slaves? I sold my own sister for 500k last month! What don't we do? Well that sounds like a personal question, now doesn't it...
Mercenary Slavers or Muscle--
Those that enforce the will of the Lead Slaver, and are paid handsomely to do it. Namely among their duties is capturing and the keeping of Slaves -- but the work is a little more varied than that. As a capital-generation division, Executive Finances may have their slavers slicing into the Republic holonet for credits one day, and pirating Hutt spice-barges in the Kessel the next day. They are also the directing force in employing massive quantities of cannon fodder in these operations, I.E. Slaves.
Lead Slave --
Some slaves aren't directed by Mercenary Slavers or the Lead Slaver in their duties, for a more subtle touch: a Lead Slave may be put in charge. These are slaves that have risen above the rank and file and shown that despite being a slave, they do have a bit of moxxy. They have proven that they can lead their brothers and sisters into whatever operation they are employed in, and come out ahead. Slaves employed in this manner are treated with a degree of respect, however they are not above punishment.
Slaves --
The bedrock of the organization. Without Slaves, we are nothing. Someone must be at the bottom. Luckily there are always Slaves -- the galaxy is literally bursting with them. Slavers capture them, people buy and sell them, some get in over their heads borrowing credits from a Hutt crimelord, or some willingly become them to get a hot meal and a roof over their heads.
They may be willing or not, they may be rail-thin and half starved or a beautiful manicured curvy Twi'lek goddess; they may be strong like an Rancor or weak like a dying Mynock -- but they are Slaves. They take orders from anyone who is not one of their own as long as it does not countermand an edict from a Slaver or the Lead Slaver.
The ones that are worthless are left to die in the gutter, those that show worth are rewarded and prized.
This is further broken down in our rank structure:
Commander of Executive Finances -- a title only the Lead Slaver, currently -- Lord Iris Strife can obtain. This person is in charge of Executive Finances until released or countermanded by Darth Zail.
Slaver Lieutenants -- The Lieutenants understood to be 2nd to the Commander of Executive Finances. They are in charge of all Slavers, Muscle, and Slaves in their appointed division in Executive Finances.
Warrant Officer Slaver or Warrant Officer Muscle -- The position immediately below the Slaver Lieutenants assigned to each corresponding division.
Petty Chief Slaver or Petty Chief Muscle -- Senior members of Executive Finances that have shown themselves to be above the rank and file of their division.
Slaver or Muscle -- The position given to every Slaver or Muscle that has finished training and proven themselves to Iris, her Lieutenants, or Warrant Officers.
Apprentice Slaver or Apprentice Muscle -- Slavers or Muscle that have not undergone training or have not yet proven themselves.
Additionally slaves are funneled into the following ranks:
Lead Slave -- Slaves that have nearly bridged the gap between Slavery and Freedom. These Slaves have shown to have a grand degree of tact, and would likely be freemen if not the desire to keep such indiviuals within Executive Finances. Lead Slaves are typically treated with some respect, given appropriate accommodations, and are placed in charge of certain slave operations.
1st Class Slave -- A highly prized slave, such as a highly skilled individual or a charmingly beautiful pleasure slave.
2nd Class Slave -- A slave with some degree of skill in a specific area or one that can appropriately handle themselves.
3rd Class Slave -- A slave that has yet been unproven in any area or is simply good for only manual labor or cleaning.
